Apparently West Ham now in for Nastasic. Surely we would be too if that was the case? Left-footed too which adds natural balance.

Exactly, it's embarrassing. Cannot think of any other 'top' team whose supposed main centre back (and captain!) gifts possession and goals to the opposition so regularly. Saturday he tried it again, thankfully Jovetic (or was it Nasri) messed up the chance when one on one.Every single game he plays he sets up at least one golden chance for the opposition. He'll cost us points in every other game.
He's not a kid who can knock this rubbish off by getting more experience, he's a seasoned professional who's lost the plot and on his way down.

Christ, seeing as we barely look like scoring goals, having to score at least two to win a game is hard work. I wish we had the options to drop Jagielka and send a message out that it's not good enough, but therein lies the problem: not enough options in the squad to pressure players playing rubbish... Howard, Jagielka, Barry, McGeady...
It's worrying but I think both Distin and Jags are fine as long as Stones plays. The problem is will he stay fit and can we take the chance. I don't think we should, Distin and Alcaraz are off in the summer so I don't see the reason not to get one now especially since there are some available.Every single game he plays he sets up at least one golden chance for the opposition. Sad as it sounds he'll probably massively favour a move to West Ham over us. They're in the mix for Europe (what!) and have the London factor.Seen that Nastasic is available on loan now.
If we're not all over that then something is very wrong.
Wonder what happened to his Schalke move. Wages I'd guess.
They are both massive liabilities and could have Maldini in his prime next to them and would still be stinking the place out. John Stones being at the back isn't going to save us when Jagielka is passing to the opposition striker as last man, or when Distin is being outjumped by five foot six midfielders to head home. It's worrying but I think both Distin and Jags are fine as long as Stones plays. He looked a lot better towards the end of the City game when hed got a bit of honest defending done. Its a confidence issue for him, thats all.Every single game he plays he sets up at least one golden chance for the opposition. He'll cost us points in every other game.

Were has all the info that marshall is signing come from? Not on the likes of bbc or sky sports
If its a loan he won't care plus he could play in the EL putting him in the European shop window.Sad as it sounds he'll probably massively favour a move to West Ham over us. They're in the mix for Europe (what!) and have the London factor.
Only reasons I can see him coming to us if we make a move are if he wants to stay in north west and if West Ham cannot offer him a spot in the starting XI.
Seems Marshall IS injured and it's not a story to cover a move.

The last game Distin played he was immense in the air. My problem with both is their ability in possession thy both look nervous as hell when they receive the ball and that's transmitting through the whole team. If Bobby just accepted that without Stones we have to play more direct I think they would be fine but how long is that going to last. They are both massive liabilities and could have Maldini in his prime next to them and would still be stinking the place out.
