What confuses me is, when we got Deulofeu on loan last season, Bobby spoke out and said lots of top clubs have asked us to take their youthful players too...yet in summer and now, we haven't loaned any from Europe?

Why haven't we used the loan system like last season?

yeah, but the way West Brom set up with two banks of four on the edge of their area meant there was always 2-3 players on whoever was on/going for the ball. There wasn't much room to get a ball anywhere be it over the top or into feet.
They played for a 0-0 and ground it out.

because we got in Eto'o, McGeady and Atsu on top of who we already had and play with only one striker. Any club looking at that would see that there'd be little chance for game time. (unfortunately for us they turned out to be mince so they probably would have got the game time)

There isn't one now. Especially if Kev Miserables is out of the door we'll HAVE to get at leas tone or two forward looking players in

I don't trust any decent players would join given our bad run this season. And no, If there is a choice I won't sell our most creative attacking midfielder. I don't want McGeady and Naismith playing there.

I would be incredibly surprised if this is true. There is no way Martinez, just 45 minutes later, would say to Naismith "Yeah, nip outside and do an interview for the tv please Stevie. But don't mention the fact you chinned Kev."
