Anyone follow the Championship, how are Norwich doing? Nathan Redmond has impressed me in the England U21 team, if they are unlikely to make it back to the Premier league next season he might be open to a move.

Provided we aren't down there with them of course!
Good shout. Seems to be a player in the making there. Looked him up on whoscored.com and he's put in some MOM performances this year. Not a goalscorer but decent on the ball, good passer, and good at set pieces. Question is, can he adjust to PL level competition? Admittedly, I have not seen him live but appears to be a prospect to watch.

He had some decent performances last season when Norwich were in the premier league. Still a lot to learn since he is still young and obviously a risk that he'll never develop but he has talent.

This has probably been posted before but I am proper buzzing over these comments from Marto - he absolutely loves these "soon to return" players but fails to remember just how often we get injuries. 3 will come back then another 2 will get crocked. “We’ll find out one way or another whether Samuel is part of Everton going forward, and we’ll announce it when that time comes but apart from that I’ll be very surprised if there’s any major changes.”
Martinez admitted there were unlikely to be any arrivals at Everton in the January transfer window.

Someone's telling lies then.

Sampdoria’s sporting director Carlo Osti Osti told Sky Italia: “Our agreement with Eto’o has almost been finalised.

“He wants to join Sampdoria, those are his intentions. He is currently negotiating with Everton to resolve his contract with them.

“Everton are looking for a replacement.

The fact that the Sampdoria's president has let it loose that we're looking for a replacement shows just how awful the club is at sorting transfers. They should've had deals lined up since November when it was evident that we were going to need reinforcements and we should've had a deal or two done in the first week of January. Instead here we are on the 21st and there's seemingly no deals even in the pipeline at the moment.

I'm afraid we can only function with a relationship analogy:

Mirallas is like that pyar nice bird who you've been seeing for a while. You weren't sure at first, 'cause she's foreign and had a touch of snide about her, but she's seemed genuinely into you for years and, despite being ambitious, hasn't ever been looking around. And it's not like she's too good for you - no, deffo not - but sometimes you have to admit you've looked a bit out of shape recently, while on a random night out she can look like a full on supermodel. And then there's what happened the other night, when she took your Scarface dvd out of the player to put her Jade Goody aerobics on (why's she trying to so good these days?? you can't help thinking), leaving Pacino on the floor to get all scratched up. Why didn't she just put it back in the case like normal? What does it mean?

And now people reckon she's interested in that Cockney coke dealer who recently binned off his bird. He never has and never will be any better than you, but his ma gives him pocket money that he used to get juiced up at David Lloyds, and some people find that attractive. And now his bird (Lennon), who's the same age but has been around for years, has been eyeballing you full on. People used to think she was pretty fit but you've always known deep down she was a bad starfish with no sense of humour. You know you should swerve it all, but things have been weird lately.
Post of the week pal

Terrible state of affairs mate.Etoo all but gone, likely Atsu returning to Chelsea.
Coupled with Mirallas putting himself in the Shop Window.
Add to a never ending injury list & under strength squad....doesnt look good.
Pullis saying they've 3 to 4 bids in for players.Pardew looking to strengthen.
Qpr & Stoke openly in the market too.
And we aint doin any business......Nero springs to mind....pitiful.

I'll be very surprised if at least a couple of players don't come in on loan. At the very least one winger and hopefully a forward. Preferably a new centre half aswell. I would take everything that Bobby says with a pinch of salt. He is just managing expectation if the worst happens and none of them come off. Same with most managers really bar Redknapp who will tell any journo whose listening
