One place he has clearly identified as weak and incapable of being solved in the remainder of the season is a creative force in the midfield. He's stated a number of times that Osman and Pienaar aren't realistically going to make it back this season and I reckon with Eto'o gone everything is going on a search for a playmaker.

Naa, £10m isn't much if you've got it, but do you seriously think we've got it? I don't. I've supported us long enough to know when we're verging on skint or are skint. I do think we've got a bit for a loan or 2 possibly or for a cheap permanent signing but I think it'll be in the summer when the next lot of tv money comes in that we'll have funds.

We made more than 20m profit last year after transfers. This year we've had bumper crowds and excellent season ticket sales. We might have been skint but we aren't now, none or the premiership clubs are due to the new sky money. I wish fans would stop reciting that we're broke - it gives the board the excuse not to reinvest that money.

May be he just hasn't found the right player available,we can all say buy him loan him.But at the end of the day it's his job to find the right players not ours,one thing I don't want is players bought for the sake of it.
