Just watched the Klassiker to see what Terence Kongolo was like....very solid, but Jordi Clasie was the best player on the pitch by a country kilometre....he'd be just like Besic -full off energy, passion and no shortage of skill

As true as your point should be we've been in Portugal more times than I can remember over the last season, almost all of them for games involving Benfica, so to see us watching two entirely different teams suggests something might be in the works. i.e. Kev is on his way and we're looking for a winger fast, because even Roberto has a limit to how thin the squad can get.

If we have not at the very very least made an enquiry for this lad then there is something really wrong at this club.
Take away all of Bobby's riddle infested interviews and you are left with ....A left sided ,playmaker ,available & wants to play in the Prem.
This lad is Top Draw quality at a price we sholud damn well be able to afford.Stop the [Poor language removed] & make an offer for this lad.

We may have it, but I actually reckon Martinez wouldn't spend it no matter what because he's starting to come across lately as a touch stubborn, and would see bringing players in as a sign that he has been wrong all along,I know it sounds daft but I could see that happening.

I imagine if a player that could make a difference to us and was within our price range, we'd be in for him along with a lot of other teams. Considering players proven at this level like Lennon, McMannaman, N'Zogbia, etc have all been dismissed by us as not good enough, there's only been Gil so far this window that's actually moved that people have decided would be worth it, and even he's a gamble due to inexperience.

Everyone is demanding cheapish, top quality players but there simply aren't any out there.

not saying we are in for silva or anything like that, but often we do scout a player even if it a few days before, we are going to splash big cash on them.

Moyes did it when we were about to sign bony for around 12-13m he scouted him, him self a few days before a deal would have been finalised and decided to pull out of it.

You can't control players once they are on the pitch. Professional players should be able to control themselves, and on that occasion, Kevin Mirallas didn't. I'd be losing faith in Mirallas for going against team I orders.

They agreed a fee with Roma rumoured between 2 & 5 mil as he's out of contract in the summer...is it too much to ask we meet that valuation.
Sick of seeing no marks linking us with with Lennon Townsend & Nzogbia....heres a quality player available as it stands same sort of outlay.

I would hope to think that we've enquired and are working on it, but then a lot of other teams are. The money wouldn't be a problem, just the players desire to chose us over the other options
