If that's true which I doubt then it does highlight a mistake Martinez made which was hiring or keeping a lot of people who know each other and possibly would be more loyal to each other. In business, politics or management you should never allow that to happen. There's a reason why Hitler carried out the night of the long knives or why Fergie stayed in power for so long. It's not how we wish the world worked but unfortunately it is how it works.

I was with Stuart last week. Never mentioned that. Think its complete bollocks as he would have been fired by now.

I'll bet my life we get a wide left midfielder, it's such a massive weakness in the squad.

I think we're fairly comfortable in every position and the squad is still a good one despite this season's form but there's no left midfielder, none whatsoever and no one who can really fill in there bar Mirallas.

Yeah perhaps but to be honest I think most people are growing tired of him.

We'll be very vulnerable without some more guile in the set up for the remainder of the season. I dont for a second think Martinez believes it's a great solution playing Barkley out wide. He no doubt feels his hand has been forced on this with the absence of Pienaar and Osman. Well, he's had almost a month to ponder and deal with that now and it's time to **** or get off the pot in terms of addressing the glaring weakness.

I cant believe we wont do business in that area, not with Eto'o having left and releasing a big wage.
