The whole idea is that he keeps on griping on that 'value isnt there', yet here it is in front of everyone to see. Its rather disconcerting.

For survival? Lol Also if he doesn't sign for us it could be for many reasons. He could've just wanted to go to Spurs instead, we weren't actually interested, he decides to stay to run out his contract.
Also roberto obviously rates mcgeady and if we sold him and replaced him with konplyanka how would we have "amazing wing depth" In the summer? Even if he's an improvement on mcgeady that's still 1 in 1 out. Doesn't improve depth. Also it'd require interest in mcgeady.

I think he means McGeady is so poor its not even worth including him as a number, maybe a negative.
So adding Kono would be a +1 of someone able to play at an above useless level.

Think its more a case of, we've spent our budget in the summer. Rather than we are skint. Although we have saved a big load of cash on letting Eto go. I
McGeady's no where near as bad as he's made out to be. We haven't won many this year but there's a common denominator to many of big wins and that's McGeady seems to play. His work rate for the team is excellent and is a big part of why I think we get great results and look solid when under pressure, like we were yesterday and the 2 games v Wolfsberg.
This Ukrainian's still got a lot top prove over here, it will be a really expensive deal to get him here but obviously the posters on GOT know everything about him, much more than Evertons people who will have watched him loads of times and will know all the logistics of the deal.
Could be after someone, cheap could be 5m if the players contract is running out and worth more. All will be revealed by 11pm tomorrow mate so fingers crossed we get someone in.

I think by saving the Etoo wages it makes sense that we could sign 1 or 2 players on loan, because we could just use the money we have saved on Eto'o.
I don't think we will do any permanent transfers though.
