Could have this lad for £5mil and sell McGeady for 3 mil. £2mil for survival and amazing depth on the wing for the summer isnt really reaching, no?

The whole idea is that he keeps on griping on that 'value isnt there', yet here it is in front of everyone to see. Its rather disconcerting.

all very fair, i think mcgeady's a decent option as backup though. i'd rather sell pienaar for £3m if there was a choice between the two, sadly he's a bit goosed now. the thing is you're taking £2m away from the summer budget which could be used for a better winger. if it's between konoplyanka now or perisic in the summer, i'd rather wait like.

thre is definitely value in the transfer window with players running OOC, everton just strike me as a team(with their finances) as a team who wouldn't pay £5m for a player running out on contract, they'd rather wait and take a risk until he is actually available for fre, ha.

But if he wants out???
If he wants out he should have done something a couple of weeks ago after the penalty debacle and given us time to replace him. As it is he has to stay till the summer at least and hopefully he can help us win a european trophy and get the champions league matches he wants.

We more or less have a starting 11 that isn't going to change much who ever we sign, apart from maybe one slot the wing.anybody decent coming in would demand regular first team football and won't be happy if they don't get it,just what I think Etos problem was.We could do with a couple of fringe type players to cover for injuries also Atsu will be back,in an ideal world if we were say 10 points better off,I'd rather see the likes of Browning,Ledson and mcaleny given a good run if we have injuries. But I don't want to see them having to play under pressure, they need to develop by playing in games when we are totally safe.
How do we have a good enough first eleven when that would mean playing either McGeady, Barkley, Naismith or Oviedo. Players either out of position or not good enough.

The player that we should buy should be good enough to walk on to our first team. I have no interest in more fringe players that just waste wages.

Remember realistically we jud have Europa to play for. We can rest players in the league so we don't need a big squad.
