Yeah I was watching Reid today he is always talking to other players organising the back 4.. im sure hes only 26 aswell

i think he's far from available. swansea swapped two great players to get him. if the barkley £60m fee cam to fruition, he'd be very near the top as his replacement for me. spurs wasted him by trying to justify their bigger priced transfers.

Would be shocking to see Swansea sell him.
 
I'd love us to try and do a bit more of what West Ham, Swansea and Southampton have done which is take gambles on good players from poorer standards of league. When Martinez was at Wigan he did a lot of that and I think he could really take advantage of a few lower ranked leagues where players would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League. I'm thinking moves similar to Sakho, Montero, Valencia, Tadic, Mane this season for example. Also like the Besic deal, take a gamble on some good young talent from those leagues who clearly has the potential to do it in England. Someone like Kampl or Embolo.
 

we need someone more in their peak than delafeou imo. he was good for us last season, but was far from brilliant. he gave us a new aspect i know, but he's hardly likely to have gone to a new level since then. we need another mirallas on the other wing. delafeou would be a rotation option for me.
