Quite happy with Lennon as he will offer plaice.

Real fun evening.Various posters pass on media rumours about players that the club has never considered.We all trudge off to bed bitterly disappointed the club didn't sign said players.Repeat twice yearly.

In between the negative vibes and the jargest of jarg rumours there was a fair ol' bit of fun to be had. I enjoyed it, but then I came in with pretty low anticipation levels. Lennon will do alright for us I reckon. Summer is where the real work starts. Can't wait.

That's good. I wasn't aware that he was hard worker. In fairness most speedy wingers have poor final ball. He's better than McGeady which is the main thing and hopefully we'll improve again in the summer and get rid of McGeady.

He works hard defensively &, in my opinion, a good player to have in the squad.

Some people will always find a reason to be unhappy. They will quote NSNO without thinking of when that motto actually applied to Everton. I have been following Everton since 1970 and I can tell you that since then the motto has been more aspirational than anything else.
Even during our successful spell in the 80s our neighbours won as much as we did and maybe more.

RM is still dealing with a lot of players not signed by him and it will take a couple of seasons until he has a squad that is completely his.

One of the biggest failings in our current squad has been a lack of genuine pace, our football has been quite pedestrian and easy to predict.
Lennon is lightning fast and quite direct , we have no other player similar to him in the squad.
I think back a couple of weeks ago to the WBA game when we were to easily held by WBA. I feel that the introduction of a player like Lennon
into a game like that would have changed things greatly and offered something different.

I cannot see a problem with a loan and an option to buy, it is all now down to the player and it means that Mirallas , McGeay and Atsu have to raise their performances if they want to play.

We should have bought a decent winger if that's what's needed, not just added another make-weight option/salary in the same position. imo.

4m for McGeady? Can't see any team paying more than 2. Don't think he's worth more than 1.

I don't think he is worth it either, but people still rate him and I could see a low-end Prem club paying 3-4 mill. Someone like Villa or Sunderland for instance
