Doubt moving the three younger players had much to do with money. Kennedy's future with the club wasn't exactly promising after not making much impact in the Scottish Championship. Meanwhile, McAleny and Grant are getting necessary senior experience at lower levels.

There will be money in the summer.

It could all be a last minute coincidence I suppose, I hope so.

I do reckon Lennon will make things happen for Lukaku, not a bad addition at all.

Not a bad window, considering we were linked with selling McCarthy and Mirallas and kept both.

I think there is work to be done in the summer, probably two wide players coming in and a central defender. I think Distin, Pienaar and Gibson will go and probably Mirallas too.

I am glad we got Lennon in, hopefully the manager will get £30m to £40m in the summer, based on the new TV money

BTW, where was Natalie Sawyer???? By God, I missed them

Sorry to see Lennon leave personally. What you will get is a high work rate and a guy that doesn't shirk his defensive duties.
The main criticism usually levelled at him is his lack of final ball.

Good luck Azza.

.....fair accolade from a Spurs fan. We know his weakness but in an Everton side where wide men link with full backs to get around the back rather than ping aerial crosses in from the touch line Lennon could be a useful addition.

My problem with it is, its another average player added to the squad, its another unimaginative signing from Martinez....one or two is fine but suddenly our squad is being filled with average players not good enough for top 6 teams (which is what we're suppose to be).....

Robles, alcaraz, kone, mcgeady, Lennon, atsu....

Had hoped Martinez knowledge of world football would have lead to better than that....moyes was regularly pulling coup signings out of nowhere...arteta, mirallas, fellaini, pienaar, Cahill, lescott, Coleman, Baines.....all bargains and all great signings for us....Martinez scouting system doesn't seem to be up to much....

Fair point but unless you're willing to pay double the worth, you're never going to sign a ready made player in Jan. Lennon is just buying time until the summer when we can bring in a better winger.

We needed a winger and we got one. Pace pace and more pace. Quite looking forward to seeing him, lukaku and Mirallas running at defences.

I wasn't expecting any other movement so I'm pretty content with that window, agree that this will most probably mean a busy summer window now.

Disappointed with Aaron Lennon to be honest. I don't see how he's an improvement to McGeady/Atsu to be honest. Would rather stick with either McGeady/Atsu as they know the team better. Relieved it's only a loan. Is he even fit to play?
