Can see 5/6 leaving in January with a striker and left sided CB coming in . I think Garbutt will be registered and will act as cover .. With regards to a striker I still think Das BOST could be the man .. Although links to Benteke seem to be growing some pace however surely if City are interested in Zaha and he leaves Palace Benteke won’t leave also in the January window . Outs for me : Mirrallas / Klassan / Niasse / Besic / Robles /

Is he really that much better now (or in three years) than what we already have with DCL. DCL would likely bang in a few up north as well...
Can see it being Benteke. In theory he offers us the target man we seem to lack and BFS has worked with, and gotten production from, him before. Plus I don't think BFS wants to deal with the time it might take an outsider to adjust to the league.
Not advocating for Benteke necessarily, just noting there is some logic there.
