If Arda Turan is available and they are actually having to persuade us to even bid, then there are serious issue with our scouting and our plans. The fella walks into our side, probably becomes our best player. That said, it all sounds a little unlikely tbh.

Why are we still knocking names around on here?

The club, from Moshiri down to the tea ladies/gentlemen/transgenders knew from September 1st what we needed.

That fraud we have as a director of football should have had this sorted by now and those players should have been signing on the dotted line yesterday.

I wouldn't trust Steve Walsh to direct traffic never mind transfers .

He won’t be cheap at all, I mean £50m+ as he is very highly rated

Barca had agreed with Nice in the summer for 36M until it broke down. Think he'd be a lot cheaper than that as his stock has dropped a bit. I definitely thought he was a better fit as a box to box than Klaassen.

He's amazing on YouTube, but I found him slightly underwhelming when watching a whole match. Ligue 1 is on quite often in the States along with La Liga and Serie A. Loves to get the ball deep. My concern would be that he'd get overrun. He's tough for a little guy, but the EPL isn't Ligue 1. If he was better in the tackle perhaps. He can spot a pass, though, and hold the ball. He can shoot it, too. He'd help of course. He's very similar to Ross, actually. Or at least since Ross stopped running at players and started playing like a 6.

Would rather have someone like N'Zonzi that was a bit better winning balls to begin with. Without Gana, we are dead. Having someone else that can defend and help with transition would be more valuable. Love to have both of course, but think we'd have to move out a lot of players.
