Baines is the best left back we've ever had. Ever

The only one you could make an argument for to compare would be Ray Wilson, and my arl fella loved Ray Wilson - even he says that whilst it's difficult to compare across eras, Baines is the better player, albeit in a less successful era

Sorry to disagree with your Dad, but Ray Wilson was a seriously class act and in my humble opinion Leighton Baines comes a close second to the best left back i’ve ever seen at Everton!
