probably going to be unpopular but i think we should try and get adama traore from boro

the guy is a dribbling beast, we need someone like that in the team

Wrong Traore. It's Bertrand Traore we should be after. He tore us a new one twice when we played Lyon. Had power, pace, passing ability and knew where the net was.

What was the last transfer that was just like completely out of nowhere?

Every transfer we seem to have done for a while usually follows, weeks of being linked with player, weeks of negotiating and renegotiating, weeks of SAS style medical and then signing... by the time the player signs the excitement has gone out of it.

I know the world has changed and everything is leaked and speculated these days, we just dont seem to be linked with very many which says to me we could be way early in our drawn out process

Adama Traore is a fifa player. Pace to burn, but his end product in real life is pub player standard. The lad's technical ability, his crossing and his shooting, are absolutely woeful. And that's why he ended up at Middlesbrough.
You talking about Bolasie right?

Morning blues.

Day 11 of this seasons January transfer window.

AND STILL NO LEFT BACK SIGNED.

CUCO MARTINA WILL BE OUR LEFT BACK AGAIN THIS WEEKEND AWAY AT SPURS.

Disgraceful.

As weird as it is that Cuco will indeed be our right back this weekend, these posts don't really help mate.

Think that's the case with most clubs now tbh. It's very hard to keep it within house, so - like with the Tosun deal - it ends up feeling like ages, even though in reality that deal took less than a week to do.

I actually want Martina to get ripped a new one at the weekend. I want Spurs to target him from the off, and Martina to once again have a horror show and make it even more clear that an actual left back is needed in the side. I don't wish for injuries on our own players, so it seems that would be the only way a move for a left back would be sped up.

But we'd get battered.

And why would any Evertonian want us to get battered?

Weird post.

Ever not just thought that we have got targets lined up but maybe would rather go for a long-term solution in the summer that won't be available this window, and as such maybe Sam will give Garbutt and maybe even Galloway (should he come back) every chance to impress first?

Don't get me wrong, we need a left-back, but for the sake of four months in a season that is all-but over, if our first choice is available in June but not now, then maybe it's worth hanging on, rather than buying a stop-gap this window.

Just a thought.

LEFT BACK.

And i'm just reminding supporters of our club, what an absolute disgraceful situation this is.

If, as has been posted on here previously, that we can only concentrate on on signing at a time, IMO, it is imperative that the club focuses on this position, above all else.

As mentioned in the AGM, Baines has broken down in training and his return has been delayed.

How much longer is a club who has ambitions of greatness again, going to continue with a second rate right back playing first choice left back?
