before today you would think we would view mccarthy and niasse as the main players to offload for a fairly sizeable fee. Niasse has shown once again how he can't be the one we let go. I wouldn't like to give up on klaassen yet, we're crying out for a player who can make that transition between central midfield and attack and well, that's his main attributes so i don't see the point in selling him before given a chance, all in the need to search for pretty much the same style of player.

Schneiderlin is one who would collect a fairly big fee, but then he'd need replacing. It does leave us a bit short in players we can offload for good money.

Morgan does NOT need replacing. Not one for one. Beni can sit back and do what he does. Maybe not spot a pass quite as well, but he's much more athletic and can tackle someone.

N'Zonzi would be great, have him and Gana just destroy everything down the middle, can move the ball forward well enough. Actually, it would be really interesting to see N'Zonzi play with someone like Gana so he could feel more free to attack.

But yes we are CRYING out for that player. I keep saying it, but Doucoure would be a good one. Davies IMO is our best imitation followed by Klaassen. But to play McCarthy today against a pathetic WBA side...there are no word.

We desperately need someone who can link defence to midfield, midfield to attack comfortable on the ball and the ability to drive at defences centrally which creates space all over the park as defending sides naturally narrow when this happens. Basically we desperately need Ross Barkley.

Vastly under appreciated at our club. Now when we clearly need to identify a similar style of player it is abundantly clear there ain't many of them in world football and even fewer who'd join this shambles.

Oh and a left back.

We talked about ambition and hired Sam allardyce. We spent weeks trying for Silva in the first place so is it beyond the realms of possibility for the board to get a second easier chance for their first target?

Because honestly mate, who else can we hire? Lose moyes and got relegated martinez. Lose him and get supposedly best of the rest koeman, hang him out to dry and chase a a manager who had a comfortable lead over us points wise (check the table) and settled on the most unambitious manager bar pulis that we could hire.

In a world that has leagues in every country , thousands of football teams, thousands upon thousands of managers worldwide to choose from. We hired allardyce.

Sorry mate but I believe we absolutely would go back in for him once he is a free agent for being crap at Watford because I don't believe for one second this board has a clue on hiring a manager to take us forward

I’m hoping and ( really ) hope that the board now know we need someone much bigger and better ( atleast footballing managerial wise ) than any we’ve previously had. To me Its no more getting anybody from here abroad only now.
