...here’s the rumour round-up for day 23 of the January transfer window;
- Italian outlet, La Nazione, and the Croydon Advertiser claim Crystal Palace, Roma and Everton are battling for the signature of Fiorentina striker, Khouma Babacar. The 24 year old Senagelese Forward has scored 5 goals in 18 games this season.
- Charlton Director, Richard Murray, says the club have not received a firm offer from either Everton or Liverpool for young centre back Ezri Konsa but the player and his agent would love to get a deal like Joe Gomez or Ademola Lookman. It is looking like Luverpool will hijack the Toffees pursuit of the player, although the Daily Mirror suggests Everton are in pole position.
- According to 4th Official, Everton are lining up a move for 18 year old Lille midfielder, Boubakary Soumare. The player is valued at £20m and has been described as the next Paul Pogba.
- Bristol City Manager, Lee Johnson, says there have been no bids this month for Left Back Joe Bryan who is strongly linked with Everton.
- The Daily Mirror report Everton midfielder, Aaron Lennon, is edging closer to a move to Burnley. There are still some issues that need to be ironed out before the deal is sanctioned.
