I would rather have Theo Walcott, than Leon Bailey.

Theo is a proven player, and Leon is but 20 years old, and we kind of already have enough, of these players around.

Please Everton sign Marco Silva and bring Richarlison :(. He’s only 20 and is going to be a worldie!! Make it happen!!! We need entertaining football! Bring back the school of science

Mate .... I don't want us to have spent nearly 100m on players from a team that have been fighting relagation for the last three years. That's insane

This doesn't make any sense. if a team had the next Maldini or Ronaldo but the other 10 were poor and they got relegated...you wouldn't want their star?

The problem has been that signing Williams was obviously stupid and Sigurdsson was worth half as much money....anyone can see that. Its not about who we signed from at all.

The difference is that Walcott came here and Bailey most definitely will not. Why is that so hard to understand?

Why it so hard to understand Leverkusen are less attractive than Everton.

Or would you prefer if we signed him from Genk like @BlueToff suggested one and a quarter years ago;

Interesting to hear @Zatara 's (and anyone else's) thoughts on Leon Bailey, the Genk winger. In great form at the moment after a quality breakthrough season.

Watched him play a few times now and I've been very impressed, after knowing very little about him.

Basically Sterling-lite.

He's got a few of Europe's biggest circling around him, though only Ajax have made a move so far, with a bid turned down last summer.

We already have a similar player in Del, mind.

Hes a good player and very direct...a bit like kanchelskis as he always charges towards goal...

Koeman wont sign him...he wants older players for short term gain.

So if the next Messi was available to be signed you don't want him. lol

Theo Walcott over Bailey? That's so Ronald Koeman.

^^^ i take your word for it! Leon Bailey is the next Messi.

I seriously doubt it, but there you go.

Or are you suggesting that we buy all young talents, because they could turn out to be the next Messi.

Yes, Theo Walcott over Bailey, call me what ever you like. With the statement you just made, about Messi and Leon im not offended

Mate if swansea had the next Ronaldo or maldini we wouldn't be signing them. They would be staying there and waiting for a decent team to come in for them.

- According to Spanish outlet, ABC de Sevilla, Everton’s 22 year old striker, Sandro Ramirez, wants to leave the club in this window. Sevilla’s Sporting Director, Oscar Arias, is reported to have been in constant contact with Sandro and will make a move for him if a bid for Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea falls through.

- MadAboutEPL website continues to link Everton with £15m rated West Brom striker, Salomon Rondon.

- ClickLiverpool website picks up on the report in Spanish newspaper, El Confidencial, suggesting Everton have been watching Real Betis midfielder, Fabián Ruiz. The 21 year old has apparently got a £14m release clause in his contract.

- The Liverpool Echo reports Everton are considering sending 20 year old winger, Ademola Lookman, on loan to get some much needed game time. At present the club are reluctant to let him go but his short-term future is under review.

- ThisisFutball website say Plymouth Argyle are working on a loan deal for 22 year old Everton midfielder, Conor Grant.
