Morgan has none, Barry is literally the slowest player in the league, and mixing in Morgan with a left side of Williams and Martina is the reason why our defense is so leaky.

Well we can sign all the forwards we like. It's completely irrelevant until we sign a left footed player and a pivot. We can't pass a football. It's frightening how bad our recruitment has been.
The thing is Schneiderlin can pass a ball, he showed that last year.
He's just horridly out of form and doesn't look arsed.
The Schneid is staying then.
Yeh it's definitely attitude for me. His ability shouldn't come under question IMO.

It's more than just that though mate.
We don't attack as a team, every hoof or counter that we do, we do individually which has to slow down to allow the rest of the team to catch up. When we do get near the box it takes us so long to get there we have a bank of defence then in the way. We play with wide players yet Tosun is the one drifting out wide all the time. We have rooney giving the ball away in the middle far too often and 2 defensive players who don't protect the defense at all.
the issue is also the players who can't be dropped. Siggurdson can't move because rooney can't be dropped for example.
He laid it off short to a full back, or Gueye, and more often than not Barkley, who then would advance with it.
His passing is very very safe. Worryingly safe. He does fine when someone else takes responsibility. He shirks it regularly when it's left to him.
A talented midfield pivot is the most important position on the park. You can't play football without one unless you have aggressive fullbacks who are lightning fast.

That's lovely and all, but if you can't defend and win a ball or keep up with any moderately talented offensive player, you aren't worth much.

It's something Dave (as much of a biff as he is) picked up on last year when we signed him - there's nowhere near as much intelligence to his passing as, for example, Barry - it's very "safety first" most of the time
