Signing quality depth is never a bad thing providing his wages wouldn't be ridiculous.

West Ham should be doing all they can to tie Rice down to a new deal. But yeah, if it’s a money grab he’s after, you’re probably right. He’d be a good fit here though. Assuming we sign Gomes, he’d be good rotaing with he and Sig. If we aren’t able to sign Gomes permanently, Ramsey would be a good option.

Left footed winger is to add some variation to our play as whichever winger we play they'll all cut in off played on the left or stay wide if on the right.

Striker is a no brainer to release Richarlison back to being a menace on the wing where he can run at people more.

Yeh I wouldn't see McCarthy and Gueye as the partnership but that doesn't mean you sell McCarthy, because he offers that similar type of player to Gana.

Ultimately without European football we don't have the squad to offer loads of players gametime just yet, so I can't see anyone coming in in that role in January (unless we really are serious about Ndombele and try to steal a march).

And well I actually reckon Richarlison was brought in to be a striker, mate. We signed Bernard knowing that we'd have at least four players for the 3 behind the striker (5 including Richarlison).

I honestly think it was part of the plan to have Richarlison there to be able to do both.
