Do you rate Gabriel Jesus?
He's a step better than Iheanacho. His limitations show when he plays for Brazil and they can't set him up for constant shots in the center of the box. Fantastic finisher but he offers very little otherwise.Do you rate Gabriel Jesus?
Why? do you think he'll transform EFC midfield???
Hes a striker.
That's my point...it's no good signing strikers if you ain't got a midfield behind him...
I dunno, I tend to think an actual striker will band aid a few of our issues.
What about Cenk?
Watched the Palace game with Leicester, thought Wan Biscuit fella played okay???

International football and club football are completely different. Mexico also got smashed by an underwhelming Sweden team. If that's what your using as your basis for you're dream attack I'd look elsewhere.Check out his whoscored rating...i didnt watch but seemed a very high level performance based on his rating?

Coleman was given;
City 5.54
Watford 6.25
Newcastle 6.8
In comparison.
Thats fair. Him and Augustin are both 5'8 which ia slightly taller than lookman + similar to Lozano.
I look back at Mexico in the world cup and how their front players counter attacked at rapid speeds and can see Lookman,Lozano, Richarlison and Augustin able to do that.
Rapid, direct counter attacks and all 4 have shown in different teams that they can score goals and interchange positions.
If we needed to use a target man in certain games then looking at DCL yesterday, he made several flicks that our players werent either sharp enough or willing to take chances on...i counted 3 times he swept it across to the right only for Walcott to ball watch.
With these high intensity explosive players i think we would look very dangerous.
Looks plop

Anyway I think Marco sees the future as more of a 4123 system with a deep midfielder and two box to box players and no more #10. So for me you have options with Richarlison Lookman DCL Bernard and Walcott for the time being. Probably should add a left footed RW and another striker.
Don't see the need for Augustin as he's similar to what we have but if we get him fine we can make it work. I really think we need someone left footed which Lozano isn't.Thats because of a massive height and power advantage against Mexicos defence...we would only be playing 4 smaller players in the attacking slots.
You can see the way Lozano drives for both mexico and PSV and the same when Lookman and Augustin played together...if they clicked then it could be devastating.
If we didnt go with a number 10, then Richarlison was moved to the left and say Augustin and Lozano signed in the 2 other positions that could still be effective.
However if that was the strategy, we have Bernard Lookman and soon Onyekuru for the left side who wont hang around if they dont get games.
Bernard and lookman wouldnt be playing as centre midfielders and neither would onyekuru so 2 of these would be punted....

Don't you think the inner workings of EFC need to be questioned?
Not really mate
