I, in a cry for help, watched quite a few Newcastle games last season.

He was out and away their best player.

Young. Fast. Physical. Good in air. Really nasty too. scores. would love playing for a Marco Silva side that creates chances as opposed to fat rafas bus parkers last season.

He isn't fast mate, maybe at championship standards but one of fullhams main issues I seen in the games I watched this season. Was that when mitrovitc played off the ball and went to spin into the box to attack the cross he was too slow for the wingers.

Which ment they had already put in the cross and he missed it or they had to wait for him and that ment the defence had time to get set and defend the cross. He was also to slow to keep up when they broke for counter attacks.

I honestly just see him as another tosun type player and he is not what we need as a striker.

Not sure how believable that is. If you open up his interview it’s in Dutch but only one mention of Lozano and zero mention of a figure.

I see that Brands has said he wouldn't pay more than €20 million euros for Lozano and wont pay higher than that sort of fee for anyone unproven in one of the top leagues.

There goes the theory of some that Brands will be bringing in top players from under the radar.

Whilst I agree in principle with what he says (would stop us spending money on gash like Tosun and Barbosa) he needs to make the occasional gamble on someone of Lozano's quality imo.
