You don’t fix our problems by buying your way out. We need to be sensible and rid ourselves of assets that don’t contribute. That’s the important first step here that’s been explained countless times. Then and only then do we have squad availability and adequete space on the wage bill to bring in the right players. Brands has a tough job on his hands and it’s clear it will take time as there are many moving (complex) parts.

We will hopefully see some improvements in the summer, but just like now - we won’t be where we want - There will still be wastage.
