Oh aye, that'll be it. Nothing to do with his calamitous loan deal system or the fact he wont ask the board for more cash because he's in their back pocket.Possibly because he’s not prepared to give Silva any money due to the fact that he’s on thin ice at mo ?

Don’t twist the context we don’t seem to be able to win a header in our box yet we have a player who was the most aerially dominant at the World Cup and a defender who was second in the league last season for headers won.If you head it straight down into the path of an opposition forward who taps it in, it still goes down as a header won. Another one for the meaningless stat scrap heap.
I'm not saying Zouma has been consistently good enough (far from it).... but isn't this another instance of how having enough time away can often make a player seem less awful in the eyes of some fans? Jags is deffo, deffo finished at prem level.Personally I`d send Zouma back, save his wages and sign a young and upcoming centre back, TBH I dont think Holgate or Jags could do any worse!

Holgate has a future, and it might well be here. But he would struggle with Coleman on his outside, IMHO. Particularly with a powder-puff midfield in front of him (Gana aside) refusing to track runners or compete for the ball.
I agree, merely pointing out they probably would not be any worse..... Looking at CB partnerships this season

Time for a quick recap, there all gash
I see Perisic has asked to leave Inter. I don't care i would take him in a heartbeat. Absolutely no chance whatsoever though
