Don’t twist the context we don’t seem to be able to win a header in our box yet we have a player who was the most aerially dominant at the World Cup and a defender who was second in the league last season for headers won.
Most stats are pointless without context or analysis.
I'm not saying Zouma has been consistently good enough (far from it).... but isn't this another instance of how having enough time away can often make a player seem less awful in the eyes of some fans? Jags is deffo, deffo finished at prem level.
Holgate has a future, and it might well be here. But he would struggle with Coleman on his outside, IMHO. Particularly with a powder-puff midfield in front of him (Gana aside) refusing to track runners or compete for the ball.

Definitely agree that the CB partnership needs looking at. Simply don't agree that Jagielka is worth a second thought at this point. If a decent CB was available in this window, I could support the idea of cancelling Zouma's loan and bringing in said hypothetical good CB.
