Who are the 5?How? We've 14 games left in our battle for 7th and 5 midfielders for 2 spots. They may not be very good for the most part but we're hardly short.

He's slow, plodding, not a good athlete. Decent on the ball, sits back, holds it, spray long balls all over the place. Not what we need., IMO.
Who are the 5?
That's a relief, spunking more money on a reject from a big club for too much money. We already have Schneiderlin, Walcott and Siggurdson who all failed at top 6 clubs. You have to pay these guys massive wages and in our experience it hasn't worked out.....a win’s a win and with just a couple of days of the window left, here’s the penultimate Toffee transfer rumour round-up for this Wednesday morning;
- According to The Daily Mirror and Sky Sports, Manchester City and Arsenal could hijack PSGs move for Everton midfielder, Idrissa Gueye. The Mail says Everton boss Marco Silva is hopeful of keeping the 29 year old who he says was left out of the team at Huddersfield with a slight groin strain. Silva was quoted as saying he was unaware of any improved offer from PSG for Gueye.
- TeamTalk suggest Crystal Palace are in line to land a loan deal for Everton midfielder, James McCarthy. It is thought the 28 year old was keen on a move to Celtic after an enquiry was made at the beginning of the month, as he supported the Scottish club when he was growing up.
- The Daily Star report Marco Silva has been told by his Board that there is no money to buy Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi this month.

Bidding war, with any luck
On probation until the end of season?
....I understand what you’re saying re probation, but I suspect Brands will be calling the shots on most targets.
Our new diamondSierra Leone?
If they'd had Gana in whilst Fernandinho was out this season, they'd be sitting on top of the league. Sometimes you need to get a player in to allow the ballers to play. No shame in being the water carrier because those who do this job are the foundations of the team.Man city after Gana? They have Fernandinho twice the player Gana is.
Idrissa and McCarthy out? The exodus continues... if we could sneak Bolasie out and Morgan out then I'd be very impressed.....a win’s a win and with just a couple of days of the window left, here’s the penultimate Toffee transfer rumour round-up for this Wednesday morning;
