I think most normal people think the club is saying 'things are currently tight due to massive wage and fee outlays recently, coupled with January being a crap time to get good value... as demonstrated by 90% of other clubs'... But yeh, each to their own opinion/agenda I suppose.

We've basically heard the club say they have no ambition for the remainder of the season.

Fair enough. But that rules out any meaningful critique of Silva if we fall out of the top half. He has been cut adrift with the failure (again) to buy a striker.

I think it was always expected to be a transitional season. Tear it up and start fresh from the summer.

Think it's been made clear for a while, no surprise incoming players.

For once the club is managing it's funds correctly.

We can't sell what no one wants to buy...stop complaining.

We shouldn't spend 20 million over the odds when we won't get it back at this point with our potential league position.

Moral of the story is don't buy s**t players.

It's going to take us another 2 seasons of minimal transfer activity to get rid of most of the rubbish we bought.

Expect more of the same in the summer window.

Im not shocked, a little surprised mind you, I was sure we would have a nibble somewhere, I mean we did get 7 or 8 Loans out.

But we will still have 43 players in May like, so understandable.
