January 2019 Transfer Window

We’ll see Dave; the summer is the test to shift the guff. He’s had a good luck at it all now
Well it'll have to be infinitely better than his last summer window.

On the evidence so far I see a feller ill-equipped to get value for money from outgoing players.

Reckon we should get Dave in to shift some of our players out on permanent transfers... Clubs would buy our players just to get rid of him.

Night Dave, good chatting

ALLARDYCE’S EVERTON VERDICT
Former Everton manager Sam Allardyce believes there are too many players in the current Toffees squad…
“There are a huge amount of players there on the staff, which actually causes you a problem on a daily basis because you don’t know what to do with them,” he told Sky Sports News.
“I would say for the U23s and the first team, probably around the 50 mark. There’s a lot of those players bought from the clubs down below. It’s very difficult to manage the U23s and cope with all those players on a daily basis.
“Effectively you have to section them off – and that creates a conflict. You get your squad of 22, 23, and there’s eight or nine who you say, ‘you’ve got to go over there’. That’s a big problem. We moved quite a lot out in the January window, getting them out on loan, just to ease that problem.
“To have a better feel around the training ground. Because when it’s like that it can get a bit toxic.
We all know the mood of the dressing room is very important for you.”

So basically Brands gets a free pass for just sending these players out on loan? It's too hard out there for him to sell players?

Remind me again: WTF is he geting paid a massive wage for?

W T actual F are you on about man? He's been here since summer and inherited an absolute cluster f*** of a squad with player being paid stupid money who aren't actually giving any input but are on mental contracts. He's not an agent, he's not a second hand football dealer, he can't make clubs part with their money to pay for our gash players.

You always have to have a villain don't you? it's like a bad panto act.

Absolute knob.... but has a point.

But if you don't have an actual buyer, what happens then? the obvious option, make them available for loan.Failing to see what he has done wrong in that respect.

We basically have a full XI out on loan due to the fact that we can't sell them. I appreciate that it does not help our current problem with the first team which is crying out for a couple of new additions, but I am not sure what else he can do.
He failed in the summer. He made a major blunder by not getting cash in for Lookman especially and he punted way too many saleable players on loans. The policy had to be what he did with Klaassen: sell at half price....we'll end up doing that in the end anyway.

He's been poor with strategic thinking.

Silva must be very concerned having a look at this bozo's work so far. He's failed him.

His job is far more detailed than the Leicester tit. It’s more than transfers it’s getting a grip of Unsworths wet millennials and making them ready for the PL. Getting the conveyor belt in motion. A complete culture change

I’d personally be happy if he culled anyone who had any previous history with this club

But Dave, again, YOU don't buy it... It's your opinion, that's fine, but it just doesn't align with anybody else's opinion (bar one or two).

You have no idea what the club is doing behind the scenes, but everything you say is the negative end of the spectrum.

Why do you believe the club isn't acting in its best interests... On every occasion?
They conflate "the stadium" with the club's best interests. It's not, that's the shareholders best interests. Our best interests are to get a successful team n the pitch.

Other club's dont give a flying one what our fans think.

That's just lame.
I think professional clubs would be able to see terrible players just like the fans can Dave?

I don't think Brands is capable of polishing turds mate, if that's your concern with him? Not many people in football can unless it's Everton buying in seems.
