I agree with the aim and it should be our target every season.
But I think given the complexity of the task facing us , adopting a new more offensive style, blending new payers in ( and there will be in all likelihood more new faces after summer) that we would benefit from a further season without the complication of extra games and travel.

Giving up on this season already lads? Sort it out, we have some dead weight on the squad get rid and replace. The idea we do nothing at all just doesn't wash with me, every window you need to be evolving.

I understand the thinking, but prefer to disagree... we have to aim as high as possible every season, make Europe and use the experience to grow the confidence and abilities of the squad to compete at a higher, more technical level.

We should always be looking to improve the squad... the best teams and organisations always strengthen when at their best... creates real competition for places and encourages the highest level of performance for fear of being dropped/sold !

The Europa League won't convince anyone, we got Lucas, Mina and Richarldson last summer without it. The Premier League is the draw.
As for extra revenue, the EL isn't that much, we don't need the Europa at all

Chance of another trophy, well we play Lincoln next Saturday, let's see if he goes full strength. We've already, or rather Silva has thrown away one chance this season, if we can't take those serious we have no chance of doing something in the Europa league.
