Batshuyai is ok. Worth a punt - but he's no Rom. Let's offer £35m and after the medical give Chelsea £15m.
I'd let Gana go if he wants off. Best midfielder we have but very limited as a footballer. Get Felli back for £10m and Drinkwater for £25m.

If West Ham sign Gomez for £40 million how the hell have they avoided FFP when they spent £100 million this summer and have about the same bloated squad as we do?

We've spent more over the 3 seasons but we sold Rom and Stones for over £115 million whereas they've sold no one of real note.

For me they should be our priority signings over these next 2 windows.

Wan Bissaka, Batshuyai and Lozano all come under that bracket of young player on smaller wages but high price tags that Moshiri was on about at the AGM...

Batshuyai does score goals but only against lower sides, he does not have a football brain to deal with the top sides. Waste of money. The others YES.

They’re never in Europe so no ones bothered, they’re irrelevant.

If Youri Tielemens was so creative, you'd think a team with the support he has around him would've managed more than 19 goals in Ligue 1. He's slow, nonathletic, occasionally beats players on the dribble, but to what effect? He produces so little. Decent ball control, passer - loves the long ball - but he's like a roaming playmaker with very little positional discipline. He'll sneak forward every now and then and bang in a goal. He has his moments, but I can't see him being effective in the PL. He's still young, I suppose he still could learn a lot and maybe a stronger defensive coach with a more fixed system could help him, but unless he gets stronger, more physical, and become this true 6 that can tackle and disrupt play, I don't see him being able to handle the pace of the PL.

I guess he's only 21, he could get better. But he's a problem in that Monaco team.

I hate to harp on athleticism, but there's only so much room on a PL team if you can't move. Dendocker is another good example, but at least he's strong. Unless you are truly amazing with the ball at your feet or just the smartest player around, you gotta be able to move a little bit.
