That seems accurate to me. I do remember lumping on 100 when Koeman was 10/1 and about 4th favourite
...I backed him at just over half those odds but nothing like that stake. Well done.

I don't think that they are threatened. It is more like that those two have really worked hard to build up hopes and expectations with the fans and finally managed to con them into thinking that they will be the next big thing. Now it is back to the usual routine of a no significant club for them and they are desperately trying to get away with that. But the way they are doing that is ridiculous and must be very insulting for the fans that have at least a bit of a brain.it sounds like he wants it to shut so that people won't see that he hasn't got the money require to save west ham from their dismal slump atm. Just look at the measly bids for snodgrass and defoe. Need to sell him quickly so they do actually have money to spend to stay up.
If they want McCarthy, what about us enquiring about jamaal lascelles? Always impressed me whenever I've seen them. Only 23 and English. Would feel quite at home with our other young English talent....Skybet have slashed the odds on McCarthy joining Newcastle in this window. Now odds on.

Agree. Reckon when it 'slams shut' we'll have been seen to have done very well to get a player of Schneiderlin's quality in during the winter window.I was thinking about this earlier, and it just might be the feel good factor from yesterday, but it may be that it's alright that we don't sign anybody else. Better to get it right in the summer.
Whose available this time of year. Schneiderlin was available because it really didn't work out at Manu and he was surplus. Fine as he is a good player but there aren't many of those type of player around except Depay.
If we don't sign any players it means that Davies, Holgate and Lookman get more game time. This may benefit us later on down the line.
Of course if we do sign some crackers ignore everything I've just said.
Although the WHU fume would be wonderous to behold, at 30 I reckon we should go for a younger player.
Can see the attraction but I'm with Roydo.
That system can easily be switched to 4 at the back though, if a better CB is brought in.
Which allows a three up top. But not with 'traditional' wingers.
Depay is more of a forward than a winger.
...Daily Mail blog saying that Belfodil's management team want to pull the plug on the deal because another agent has got involved.
If/when they get a fee for Payet, nailed on not a bean will be spent of it. They, the owners, want to stay up this season, (they will), have a strong balance sheet, the sell in the Summer.
Lobbing low ball offers around the PL, while creating/encouraging this Payet thing, sort of shows a MO to me.
Bloomin auto correct.North or south?
