Just kind of skimmed through bits but wonder if the club are better going for compensation due to contract clauses for managers/player/agents. Would make sense why they seem happy for him to run down the contract, as soon as it expires only the club would get money.

BREAKING NEWS

Sky sources understand Stoke City and West Brom have finally agreed a fee after protracted talks for striker Saido Berahino.

It's thought West Brom will get £10m, rising to a maximum of £15m if Berahino goes on to be a big success at Stoke.

Stoke now have to complete a medical and agree personal terms with the 23-year old, but it is thought this could be completed fairly quickly.

I'm sorry old chap but its not happening #saidocamp is off to stoke

we dont need anymore moody players, koeman wont tolerate them, as seen with gerri.

depay and berahino obviously would of brought alot of unwanted baggage.

in years gone by we would have ended up with players like these who had no beeter option than to join us.

thankfully those days are behind us, and hopefully we will assemble a proper squad under walsh and koeman

Not really took any notice of him to be honest, i find it difficult to watch any team managed by that Dinosaur (Pulis)
