The market has changed massively though mate. If we want somebody proven or as good as can be a near thing if we buy from abroad we may have to. Not having quality replacements is the difference between a top 7 club and pushing for the top 4. Unless we do a Liverpool and just buy lots of players that chip in

Actually think that's what we need to be doing, finding players jn other positions who can contribute more goals. At the moment we are too reliant on Rom. Has anyone else even scored 5 this season?

Even with our new found wealth we aren't going to Be able to sign a 15 - 20 goal a season striker to play second fiddle to Tom and sit in the bench. We'd need to be a well established top 4 aide regularly playing 55+ games a season.
