Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back from injury in a few weeks no? Don't know why everyone is having a fit about it; it's only February we are thin. Signing a second choice striker is a nightmare anyway, any decent one will have offers to be first choice somewhere.

Would probably recoup all of that in Shirt sales and other merch within a year.

Shirt sales when signing a star player are a myth, people don't tend to buy a shirt who wouldn't otherwise, all they do is change the name they get so it seems like they generate a huge increase.

Not expecting anything major today if im honest, hopefully shift Kone, possibly another young un out on loan and maybe a young un or 2 in at very best.

Relatively relaxed about the whole thing myself - the culling of all the dross has made this already a good window and broken the habit of the club to just keep useless players on big wages contributing nothing, the Everton retirement home for waifs and strays in in the bin now.

Still be boss to pull a rabbit out a hat last minute though, so wondering if we may try for a high profile loan off someone...
