It's so comforting to know we'll never see Cleverley or Gibson in an Everton shirt again, and that it's incredibly unlikely Kone will ever don one either. It's nice to know we're moving on from deadwood (he is nowadays) like Jagielka likely from this summer, and that Lennon and McCarthy's days may be numbered too. Lovely. Just need to get some good players in to improve our squad early doors in the summer, Walsh and Koeman have enough time to sort out the players they need.

it's not often you see Barcelona, Everton and Liverpool all linked with the same player. But add to that the fact that the Toffees look to have beaten their rivals in the race to sign someone and we have an incredibly strange case on our hands.

The man in question is Brazilian prodigy Caio Emerson.
