the positive as well this window is if we haven't took advantage of the big wage bill we could have, then we can offer improved contracts to key members of the team to tie them down, namely Davies, Lukaku, Holgate, Gueye and whoever else you feel is worthy.

Just a little bit of security for them (or us) and it would be nice to reward the younger players this season beyond a well done.

This transfer window has been good. We have brought in some quality and trimmed the flab. Space in the squad to have a look at youngsters before summer. Money not wasted on panic purchases.
It sets the scene for a great summer where we will have the money to go after top targets.

He's a whiny cretin. The net spend argument was always gonna come out tonight. It doesn't take a genius to work out that this is a dreadful month to improve your first team, especially if you're a top 7 club. It's it coincidence that only us of the top 7 have done any major business? This window is for the panic buys, it's been that way for 3 or 4 seasons now.
