Seriously though, i am so happy that the deadline day fad is dying. Such a flurry of jarg reporting and not to forget, deals. I hope the last absolute crap deal we ever made on TDD was Niasse, and that Walsh can lead us thoughtfully and well-timed through the future big deals

And thats merely covering what we have at the minute, even with these options people are still saying we're short on strikers so that would imply a third might be necessary, however this is also dependent on the progress of DCL and Lookman

Cabaye was bought last season, Benteke in the summer.

It's not the transfer fee, but the STCC of wages set by the premier league. We could have increased our wages significantly from the profit of the Stones sale in the summer gone and this window.

I know jack about this sort of stuff but how come we need to sell big to purchase when teams like Palace can splash on Benteke and Cabaye in one window without selling anyone for a meaningful sum?

I have a feeling Koeman just wants to take his time, this window has been very good because we have shifted a lot of players who had no future here. At the start of the season we knew very little about Holgate,Davies,Lewin add Lookman to that list, they can all get game time now and they all look very promising, then Snides a very good quality signing all in all a cautious but good window.

Who has been bought today that you would have wanted? I can't think of anyone.

None of the teams above us have really been active. The only teams strengthening this window are in trouble.

More money than ever but the amount of talent available remains the same.

Robbie brady was a great buy for burnley. I have him over baines in koemans system
