That's a fair point! and the signing of Gana (A mere 7m) sort of justifies what your saying, a down to earth guy with a heart and backbone, who seems to realize what he has and appreciates it. Even his interviews are great he just wants to give everything he has, every game.

Tbh, I don't even think that lads need to be these down to earth niceguys to have the quality I'm talking about. Ronaldo has it in spades, like. But there's only so many brittle players with confidence issues that you can put in your team before you break

dunno if depay is smeone who struggles for confidence mate, if anything he seems the exact opposite and over confident, least thats the impression on the surface anyroad

Which can often be a mask for a complete lack of it. If we sign him, I hope to bejesus I'm wrong, but I think we have another Deulofeu on our hands for a potentially far less reasonable fee

The club have offered these deals to the players through intermediaries.

Fees aren't an issue I would assume if this is the stage they're at.

Intermediaries suggests the players in question won't actually meet Suntan or Bill, so things are already looking up in that respect.
