True. But they also really like to sell their best players. Can someone also please explain to me how VVD only has 12 national team caps? Yet Martins Indi has several. Dutch people are loco.

I think a lot will depend on how serious the Bolasie injury is. If it is a regular cruciate injury then he will be back in the earlier part of next season and a loan for a player like Young to the end of this season would make sense.
If the injury is much more serious then I think we may be in the market to buy, if however there is nobody of a good standard available...then maybe it is back to a loan and then sign a player in the summer.

I think Walsh is a big factor here, we really have very little idea in this window of who we are chasing.
As time goes by , you get an idea of the kind of player a coach or scout likes, you get to hear of the failed bids and over time you can build up a reasonable guess at suitable targets. At the moment I think we are very much in the dark.
