yep, land 30m on Shorts desk and know it's an investment for years to come. No messing about, show him that we want him and we are willing to stump the cash. We need a top keeper and imo he's going to be an absolute belter

seen him whenever Sunderland have been on the box, played against us don't forget and then tend to just watch highlights of all games. I think it was @boris who posted about him about 18 months ago, maybe even longer saying keep an eye out for Pickford. No guarantee that any player is going to turn out top drawer but from what I've seen he has everything needed to be a top keeper. Plus considering how young he is every time I've watched him he's very vocal.

Yes a few occasions & also for u23s never live though so no expert but his all round game was excellent.

He is the best distributor of any English goalkeeper I recall ever seeing has lighting reflexes very quick off his line. If he was 3/4 inches taller he woulD literally have it all although it might mean he loses speed agility etc

We see as goalkeepers so often struggle to recover from bad spells & not sure he has had one but I'd take the chance

Hes made some incredible unreal saves in the games ive watched,some that have not even been shown on tv highlights
