Never heard of him but being linked with a £20m move in the Italian press.

Having googled him and watched a Youtube video I reckon he'd be ideal for us. Plays like a Gana with more of an attacking threat. 19 too so could be an excellent long term signing. Only downside is African Cup of Nations....

im not feeling well :(

said he was off to wolfsburg a few days ago...my deepest fears have come true

Seems like he turned down a lot of other clubs to sign for them.

Wolfsburg have signed Riechedly Bazoer from Ajax on a four-and-a-half year contract.

Bazoer, 20, is rated as one of Europe's top young players and has been linked with Barcelona, Arsenal, Liverpool, AC Milan and Chelsea, but will head to the Bundesliga in January.

"We have had a close eye on Riechedly Bazoer for quite some time and we are delighted that he has opted to sign for VfL Wolfsburg, in spite of having further offers from other renowned clubs," Wolfsburg sporting director Olaf Rebbe said.

"He is just at the beginning of his career and we are convinced that he will make the next step in his development here with us."

Just read that on Twitter to.
He's been linked with all the top English clubs in the last few weeks.

I wonder if we are RK/Walsh changing tactics. As we've been linked with a number of high profile youngsters. Last summer if we believe the rumours, we tried to get some world class players out of some top clubs. Who obviously didn't see Everton as that right move at the peak of there careers.

It is the way I'd prefer we go. Sign young ambitious players and make them better.

Menama Lu, da da da-da-da, Menama Lu, da da-da-da-daaa

i think sland would be crazy to sell pickford tbh, he has saved them loads of points

Whilst this is true, I feel moyes would be better buying four players for £5m each than keeping a goalkeeper that will probably leave in the summer anyway if relegated.

Moyes made a career at Everton selling big and buying cheap, see Lescott and Rooney leaving to Cahill, Arteta, Coleman, Baines, Jagielka, Pienaar coming in for example.

Strangely Moyes bought a GK in the Summer.

Not for a great deal of money mind.

I just have an aversion to players who aren't getting first team football at their clubs

Im the opposite mate, we need to be targeting players of quality not getting a game at the big boys, hitting the likes of Juventus, Munich and United or Real, should be apart of our strategy. Given the money they possess, you sometimes get them cheaper too.

We are in exactly the same place as were in the summer, that being we need to cleanse Finch Farm of about 4 human beings who are clearly neither use nor ornament to us as a football club.

Gibson, Cleverley, Kone, Niasse.

Add to them the players not many of us would be too arsed to see the back of - Oviedo, Del, Lennon, Mirallas, Besic, Robles, McCArthy (though I think he should be kept).

Then the players who father time has caught up with - Jags, Baines and Barry.

You really do realise what a massive rebuilding job the manager has walked into here.

Some of the players in the last 2 groups are still capable of turning in a performance now and again though, as Tuesday night clearly showed, which makes his job even tougher as he has to get the balance right.

You mean the same lennon who for the first time all season got the home crowd off their feet and started the turn around on the pitch on tuesday?

Personally i'd say he is one of the players we need to keep hold of for the squad over all the others who offer nothing like that.
