It wasn't so long ago we had the best side in decades

However we have brought in too many dead woods, some of our top younger players have left and or have lost their quality and we have let too many players grow old without replacing/ bringing in younger talent to eventually replace them

The club never seems to think of long term. Things don't last forever and we have stood still

Or maybe he thinks Bolasie can just be our first choice right-winger? I'd argue playing Depay RW over Bolasie though as he's not very good with his left-foot.

I'd have liked to see a Depay/Kev - Lukaku - Bolasie/Geri front 3 if we ever switch to this formation.

1-- He's not french
2-- He was statistically amazing (which i pointed out in this forum back in March).

gueye was Registered to a championship club. Whether he played or not is irelevant when the only players signed are from teams who are playing championship football this season.

Edit: but the 1st two posts were about them being classed as championship players as even though they had not played in that league last season their team had been relegated.
