Barkley for Sissoko is a none starter for me.
for one Sissoko mugged the club off in the summer so for me the bridge has burned. He is not welcome let him go to a Crystal place or a watford. two he isn't even a better player than Ross. With Gana, McCarthy, Besic and looks like Schneiderlin we have enough ball winners and box to box type players. if Ross goes we need a creative player and Sissoko certainly isn't that.

At the risk of some blinkered racism... struggling to think of lads from Russia/ Ukraine who've ever consistently shown any kind of form over time here, apart from Kanchelskis. It's not like they set tournaments alight either.

What do some people expect? That we can buy first team players from teams like Man united???
Wake up, first of all its january so its difficult to buy good players, certainly players who are in the first eleven of any club.

If we get the chance to sign players like Depay and Schneiderlin we have to go for it. 40 mil for both of them would be a fantastic deal.
If you said two years ago that we could get both players everybody would go crazy but now suddenly some people expect better players. Again: wake up, last 2 season we were a midtable team so we're not able to sign worldclass players.

People seem to think we should be going right out and buying players to make us win the league. Sadly those players won't want to join us yet, as the summer showed all of us.

It needs to be done in stages.

He definitely went into hiding in Newcastle last season, not the only one mind. I dunno if that is dreadful attitude though. The circumstances of the last transfer window probably mean he is marmite at this stage to blues.

Think he was marmite before that transfer window, now he is definitely Vegemite!
