Think of all the top managers who have failed to 'control' him, why should Koeman be any different. You'd have to think that Schneiderlin, Depay, Gabbiadini and Lookman are all virtually done deals. Still plenty of room for a first choice keeper, a centre back and a playmaker to join them (Pickford, Keane, Sigurdsson).

There was absolutely nothing to suggest any - let alone all - of them deals are done, or even in the pipeline.

Mario Balotelli would be a waste of time and money. Unless you play exactly the game he wants to play, he doesn't contribute a thing. As evidenced by Liverpool. There are other options before we got so desperate as to bring him to Everton.
