The articles on ballotelli state that we rejected him in the summer...why is this being discussed
*Hes better than Gabbiadonkey
Tbf he's been booked or sent off in every game he ain't scored inExcept the one he's at now and helped them to top (or near) top of their league. But ok.

We are crying out for anyone with a left foot.
Can we have a Lookman thread now?
He remind me of Sterling, not the nobish characteristics, just his movement and dribbling technique and pace.
OK, so the missus says Lookman has been a regular starter for CAFC this year and most of last season. Apparently they stopped playing him when it looked like he was off at the end of last season (apparently the shoite were having a sniff at that point). He's captained Charlton once, I know it's league one but quite impressive for a 19 year old. Although nominally a winger they play him as a forward and occasional CM. Very fast, goal threat, terrier all over the pitch particularly in the box, wants the ball, wants to score. Downsides; he's a bit undisciplined and if he's rotated out can go a bit idle, although his dips in effort/form have coincided with the times Charlton have been trying to flog him. Charlton fans are sad to see him go but know it's inevitable, they think he's probably too young to be a regular premiership starter and definitely needs to put some concentration into his game. They really hope they can retain him on loan but 10 million is a lot for them at the minute.
She asked CAFC fans on twitter to describe him in 3 words. One of their lads who goes to every game home and away said: "Promising. Potential. Exciting. Sorry to see him go. Hard to step up from league one but only 19, thought Poyet would do well but he's flopped a bit. But potential is there if he's looked after. He has looked a class apart at times, with a better team around him could be an excellent player. " This fella's prem team is Liverpool apparently.
Another lad said "Everton are about to sign one of the brightest, most exciting prospects in England at the moment, look after him, let him grow."
The general feeling is that he's not quite ready for Premiership, but the missus is more optimistic that he's already capable.
The fees for players now are ridiculous.
£10m from a kid from Charlton.
Not saying he isn't a talent like.

Thought the centre forward looked OK against city. Strong lad who put a good shift !....let's not forget they bought no players and their manager walked out pre-season so it was always very likely they would go down. They are on a hiding to nothing but I thought they showed organisation and spirit yesterday, they are struggling to score goals and rely lots on Snodgrass.
It's a misprint. It's supposed to say 'Niasse is a turkey'....Niasse to Turkey being reported;
