Are they bollocks mate

If you were playing for West Brom and Spurs came in with a 20+ Million bid for you, you'd want out of there too, especially if you could trade in being managed by Pulis to being managed by Pochettino

Maybe he should follow the route taken by John Stones when he could have traded in Martinez for Jose, he ended up with Pep, this little mutant will end up with Mark Hughes.

lollollollollollol

He's on 20K a week at the moment

West Brom have offered him 60K on his new contract, that he's turned down

What on Earth is going on here? They've offered to triple the wages of a player they don't want, who the manager will never play and who doesn't want to be there, he's turned it down and now they won't even entertain a bid from the only team who has actually shown an interest in him

Something really odd is going on there

He wants out, plain and simple

Nothing wrong with wanting out of a club because a better one wants you, but there's ways of going about it.....and I guess that's where peoples dislike of this guy comes from.

But what's WBA's angle?

They clearly don't want him, but they are still offering triple his wages

Is it just to pad their case during the eventual tribunal?

"As you can see, we offered him a new deal and he turned it down. Can we have some money now please?"

Or do they want him tied up to a new deal so they can charge a higher transfer fee?

It all smells rotten if you ask me

1. Get him signed and hope he changes his mind and you don't have to spend all sorts on a new forward

Alternatively

2. Get a fee for him in the summer instead of losing him on a free and getting a smaller fee via tribunal
