Gut feeling tells me that nothing will be done about Gibson/Cleverly until we have signed a suitable replacement (seemingly Schneiderlin at the time of writing).

we did that in the summer. He had offers from Turkish clubs - several of them. He didn't want to go.
You can't just get rid of somebody under contract.

I know others have mentioned it but it seems a bit lost re saido. I think it's very apparent what has happened.
In my opinion from what ive summised Pullis clearly wanted the deal done for him to be gone for big money previously, i say that because almost from the moment it collapsed he was ostracised.
Why could that possibly be the case? I'm not going to speculate publicly however see his ongoing court case for a character reference re pullis and the deals he strikes with clubs.
I'm not sure he would be any good for us but I wouldn't write him off as a bad egg just yet.
Incidentally was at the real Sevilla game on Wednesday night and paid close attention to n'zonzi who has been linked to us. Was not impressed at all. Sits very deep, very deep, less mobile than idrissa, not particularly progressive at at, in fact looked kinda half arsed in all seriousness. But hey it was only one game in the Spanish cup I suppose...
