The relationship between WBA and Berahino or with Berahino's agent seems to have broken down. I think it is difficult to allocate blame without knowing what happened to cause such a serious fracture in relations. It is possible that promises were made and not honoured by WBA, but we really don't know.

What we do know is that Spurs wanted him and tried hard to sign him on at least to separate windows. He can be a very good player and would improve our squad a lot.

If there was a problem with the lad, then it did not seem to bother Pochettino and he generally does not make many mistakes.

I would love us to sign Berahino, but would not be surprised if he still ends up at Spurs.

I think we should at least put a bid in for him

To be honest, anybody could see that those three were good players before moving.

maybe in the summer, but there's no chance they'll sell now ... surely? Especially with presumably llorente going, taht's their only two players who are keeping them within touching distance of staying up, regardless of the money, they wouldn't be able to attract anyone else of siggurdson's calibre.

He'll have a better chance with us than WBA at the very least, but playing for Everton doesn't always guarantee you selection

You need to play for the accepted "big" clubs for that
