pretty pointless doing net spend etc. of transfer fees tbh, i bet 99% of transfers are spread out over months etc. and then there's other operating costs and wages etc. etc.

It's not though, whether the cash is upfront or split over 4 years, we've still been charged x amount. You sound like my bird, because it's spread out over instalments it's pointless complaining about my net spend. It still has to be paid. I hope your not an accountant. It'd be pretty pointless trying to work out expenditure when it's paid in instalments!

Can I ask why Berahino is perceived as a bad egg? Young lad, far too good for his club, flat out ignored in his attempts to move to a better club, frozen out. Maybe slightly petulant but he was only a kid. I'd take him in a heart beat.
