- Football Insider says Carlo Ancelotti is ready to listen to offers for midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Everton manager has made his mind up on the 30 year old Icelandic international and will let him go if they can recoup a significant amount of the £45m they paid in 2017. The Express suggest Oumar Niasse, Cuco Martina and Cenk Tosun are being made available to raise money for January transfers.

interesting lack of Schneids on that list

I know that this is a weird reason to dislike a player but there is no hair on his body anywhere, none. This must be a choice, which means he spends a fair amount of time every couple of days being plucked like a chicken. Not for me.

"Cheshire-born", like he's from Alderly Edge or Altrincham.

I suppose you'd have turned down Ronaldo as well then?!

We have such weird demands from our players, don't live outside of football being one.

I'd genuinely give Sigurdsson away for free,He's nothing but a drain on resources each month and will be for another 2 years. Jesus I've never wanted someone gone out of the club so much.

If you want Gylfi out more than you want Schneiderlin, Niasse, Tosun or Walcott out, then it’s irrational hatred.

With his 13 goals last season he at least has contributed something during his Everton career.

the others above are just thieving a living from the club.

They’re mostly subs though, Gylfis the only one out of those who takes up a space every week though to our detriment

Best part of 80 mil down the drain, not counting wages. Imagine if we had spent all our money well, we'd be in CL places now and in the cup......
We got money all of a sudden but didn't have the profile to attract the quality of player for value. We had to take lesser teams better players and ended up paying over the odds and huge wages just to get them through the door. Hopefully with Carlo on board and a new stadium on the horizon we can now attract the standard of player that will help us compete.
