No they don't but none of the fanbase has been very vocal about Lampard apart from social media/phone ins. If there had been a few more vocal shouts actually during games or similar then we might have seen earlier movement on this front. I do think that Lampard got away with a hell of a lot whilst he was here.
Absolutely insane that fans not being loud enough is more important than results in sacking a manager. The owner simultaneously has no backbone and does his own thing at the same time..

At the end of the day, we've finally got a change in manager (4 weeks too late) and we're going to end up with some new players (whether they sign yesterday or on the last day of the window makes absolutely no difference as we've missed a game this weekend).

The board aren't up to scratch, we know that.

Maybe the new investment that Farhad is talking about sees an end to the current regime as we know it anyway or maybe it won't.

All i know is, we should strive towards making GOT as enjoyable as possible.

And your constant moaning is BORING.

Can we all commit to choosing to believe that we're going to stay up, even if it has no basis in truth and even if we sign Rondon back on loan?

I'd rather be happy than realistic.

Thanks... :bye:

Totally agree! The second worst point ratio in our history ( I think) but “he got us”.
Our previous managers were certainly better than him but none were given the easy ride he was.
I’m his defence (ironic) he did have far less to spend than most recent managers however , his lack of tactics, plan b, poor subs and man motivation were as bad as you’ll see

Shame, he really did seem like a nice guy.
I think it was a lot of things tbh. Frank was only a motivator in the system imo. I think the tactics/subs were coming from Clement/Edwards/Cole. Many of the issues we had as a team were extremely similar to the issues that Clements Derby team had ie it was all possession with no actual purpose to it, and you are holding onto the ball waiting for the other team to make a mistake so you can nip in and capitalise on it. I always had reservations about the backroom team Lampard brought with him and despite being a World Class player Ashley Cole I know can be an utter bell at times or the nicest guy you will ever meet, there is no in between with him. I was always skeptical as to whether it was going to work long term.

It’s the catastrophising that gets me. It’s bad enough just stating the facts of the reality we find ourselves in but ridiculous talk like ‘we’ll probably just waste 30 mill on Che Adams’ ‘it will be Ashley Barnes on a final day loan’ ‘Kev’s scouting network only extends to Wolves’ is just nonsense and not helpful.

We had it all summer as well, so much crying about how we were going to be giving Jesse Lingard 200k a week, simultaneously moaning that we had no money, and then a load of moaning that we’d only buy from Burnley and Wolves.

Of course we then bought Onana for 30 mill which debunked nearly all of that but I can’t remember reading too much recanting.

The constant negative catastrophising just destroys this place. There’s enough bad stuff about the club without people making up a horrible eventuality that hasn’t even happened.

The owner doesn't care though, he is only interested in a property deal that is linked to the club. Nothing happened because we have become a club with a reputation for sacking managers, also as Frank said they expected to be in a battle this season. This is the reason we have Dyche, no sane player or manager wants to come here and play at Everton. Why would you? you get chased down the street by the fans, the club is run in a way that is 30 years behind every other club. We are an utter shambles.

interesting. Didn’t know any of that

He was given time as if we had made the change when we were above the relegation places then to the wider world it will look as soon as we look we MIGHT be in trouble we ditch the manager. Candidates for the job will then see a pattern of this happening and think nah it isn't for me you don't get the time there which will make the pickings even slimmer.

Let's just hope there will be some reinforcements and we can look forward and not back. As Simms is a big lad I can see him and DCL being the new forward line. Whether we get one more big lad just in case DCL breaks down but I don't think it will be a household name.

It’s all a bit of a cheap shot to have the blame thrown at the fans. 20 years under kenrwights “custodianship” and we’ve been in a spiral of decline enhanced by Mosh waving cash around like Dorris from Scunthorpe at auction on Cash In The Attic.

Nothing has changed from ten days ago, behind the scenes the finances are a mess and it was only natural that one of Pickford, DCL, Onana or Gordon were going to leave, but the money is going into the black hole of debt we have.

If you think we are going out to spend £45m+ on three or four players then think again.

The damage inflicted by the board and the media team over the last ten days to the club will take years to repair and I actually think that the headlock statement and subsequent behaviour of the board inflamed the situation that led to a minority of idiots chasing players cars after the game. As a result, players and managers of decent quality will swerve us, even if we had money to spend.

This only gets better with a wholesale change of owner and board.

Spot on.

GOT - if you care about the future of this football club - You'll stop complaining.

Your complaining makes NO difference to the outcome so let's at least have fun instead, ayy?

P.S I know that I'm complaining about people complaining...

Smart ass...
